This collection of 27 original theoretical and research papers can be used to supplement a text in an undergraduate course on adolescent development or as a foundation of readings for a graduate course. Readings cover a range of topics found in most texts, from biological and cognitive development to relationships with family and friends and young people's experiences with school, work, and media. The selection of readings is designed to present a cultural approach drawing from a variety of disciplines. Each reading contains a brief introduction and is followed by critical thinking questions.
